I have zero broodys. My chickens are all under 9 months. This is my first hatch ever, I used my own fertile eggs. I wish I had a broody because it seems easier.

I have 13 chicks out right now. All are drying out in the bator. I'm going to move them into the brooder in a couple hours.

This is a BJG/RSL cross. I thought all my chicks would be black... Surprise surprise. All the RSL crosses are coming out yellow with a tiny black mark.

Thanks for posting this! I'm plant based so always looking for new things to try. I drink almond milk a lot, I like almond breeze brand but I always get unsweetened. If I need sweetness I add a bit of agave.

Are you a vegan?

All I can think about is my grandmother's coffee, I used to call it sludge or oil. Stuff would grow hair on your chest
