BYC Café

I'm doing much better. It was a luxury to sleep through the night.
I'm still coughing but not as much.
It was a relief to send Chip on his way this morning too. After the hens are through with their molt, I have a home ready and waiting for 4 of them. I have to make room for next years pullets and even during this winter with egg production down, I currently have 7 dozen eggs in the refrigerator and will collect another 7 or 8 eggs today. I can't keep up now let alone when production picks up in the spring. I have a few new egg customers but not enough.
You're not ready to eat any of your chickens yet then DL?
Are Chip and Captain brothers?
I've got two brother cockerels crashing around here atm. Talk about hysterical and overexcited.:hmm The hens threw them out of the larger coop for Tribe 3 when mum (knock) moved back in. They are living with dad (Notch) atm.

I'm a landlubber, so they're pretty to me too, but sailors would be shaken in their boots. :p

:lau true!!

Although I always thought the saying was “Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky in the morning sailors take warning.” At least according to my dad :lau So I guess it depends when that photo was taken :lau
