That makes sense! They definitely seem like they’re a bit less hyper than the others haha but I’ve heard they can be somewhat dominant and stubborn and challenging in that way?
That's an issue the other way, for sure! I've met a LOT of crusty heelers  Either people aggressive or animal aggressive or both. I think most of that stems from the owner, myself, but that's my opinion. I very much disliked the breed until Chickie. I was sitting at work one day and a customer's heeler came behind the counter and started growling at me. Not coo :p

Yeah, the aggression is definitely a concern too but you’re right, I’m sure most of it is just owners not knowing what they’re getting into haha they do seem like great dogs though with the right owners. Just not sure if I am. :lau and oh wow that’s not good!! Haha that particular one might be training though ha

They seem like great but challenging dogs.

Maybe I should just get a Golden. Sweet, biddable, eager to please :lau

I do love the herding breeds though so idk.

I’m sure every breed has their good and bad points.

Like even Labs can be a bit hard headed and stubborn as well as run off a lot hence why I’m leaning more to Goldens ha

But I’d kind of like to try something different and I love training and dog sports and everything so I think a herding breed would be cool but I’m not sure if I want to devote that much time to one atm so idk.

I think that'd be a lot of fun to do some kind of competition with a dog! If that's the case, I really can't advise because I have zero experience. Honestly, all of the above make great family pets as long as they get plenty of exercise/entertainment. You'll find the one that suits you :)

This one isn't the normal crow. It's this high pitched squeal  The Jersey giant Cockerels look at him like he's a weirdo. I was thinking about calling him Sarge. Didn't know you had a Sarge.
I have a rabbit named Sarge, he came with the name.

Yeah, I’ve always thought it’d be fun haha I’d love to get into like agility or nose work or even dock diving haha

And thanks, yeah, I’m sure they’d all work. :)

I mostly just want a pet but also one that I can trick train or do a sport with or hike with if I want to haha

And one that’s obedient and loving haha

I think dogs need someone they respect. If they respect you and love you, you've got it made.

There has to be trust and acceptance your right the dog has to be safe now snow we raised her from a pup she will bark like hell but you bring her to sit the person can walk up even pet her if you are there... Moose hides behind me ... all bets are off if we are not there

Too funny. Is she older? Sounds like a cranky old lady:lol: Our lab had no interest in other dogs though, either. He was strictly a people person.
She's been that way since I adopted her at 6 years old. She's 13 now.
