I will NOT come back as a "skin walker," they are too homely for words. I've always wanted to be invisible and also a guardian angel. Guess, have to wait and see how I do on the "finals."

Physically the Princess is fine. Drivers side doors are pretty messed up.

I'm glad to read your wife is okay. Cars are a lot easier to fix.

Who told you that and more to the point, why did you believe them?

My mother was fatalist also - she would say things like - be careful with the sofa, THIS IS THE LAST SOFA I WILL EVER HAVE. She's been gone many years sofa is still here.

Ya well I still have my mattress since the early 70's. It is completely shot but, when I have the money I don't want to spend it on a new mattress. I am sorta like MOM. Like what if I buy a new one and kick off the next week? What a waste, and no one wants a dead person's mattress.

I get a new mattress every five years.
I've never understood why people spend so little on their mattresses given how much time they spend on them.

@sourland I'm glad the Princess is fine and it's just the car that is banged up. I hope things work out with the insurance but without the police report, you're likely to run into issues when you file the claim, as I'm sure you well know.
