Awe, the stress and anxiety is just heart breaking. I'm glad she has someone who is willing to work with her insecurities. Good that she ran towards the car and not for the hills, right?Well, she was company alright. I was reinstalling over 1,000 screws into the Hardi Backer on the great room subfloor (don't ask) and she followed along with me licking my ears! I had no way to restrain her so I have very wet ears.
Bella is so nervous of outdoor spaces she's never been in before, I had to drag her onto the lawn at my dad's house. She just stood there trembling. Needless to say, I later cleaned up a large puddle on the kitchen floor.
She was very wound up when we got home so I grabbed Skittles and the remote collars and headed to the fields. I did several more recalls with the remote collar and leash to let her know when she hears the buzzer, she needs to come back to me. If she ignores it I give her a very mild correction. She did fine so I let her off leash. She proceeded to run back to the car.I managed to sweet talk her into stopping and coming back to me before she was half way there.![]()
It seems I have a lot of work to do with this girl.
Well, they don't sound as bad as I thought! When I hear "rat" I think dirty creepy sewer rats. I'm not real well traveledThey're small country rats Meg. Very cute. The babies are even cuter.
Body length for an adult around 5 inches and waistline on this one not far short of that.![]()
Little Groot, that's so sweet!Pretty good. They're loving the weather. I think most of the feathered feet ones are pullets, which is shocking.
Little Groot is settling in. Still hasn't eaten, but that's not unusual with living somewhere new.

He had yellow fungus. The pet store employee brought him to the vet for treatment instead of euthanizing him. Yellow fungus causes lesions and he has severe scarring on the back of his head. He had a lesion on that foot and it caused him to lose them.I saw his little nubbin toesDo you know how that happened? He looks like he's smiling!
