I just put some black beans in the crock pot with seasoning, peppers, onions, and garlic. They're Mexican black beans.

I'm also making homemade Spanish rice with freshly made veggie broth, peppers, onions, corns, and tomatoes

My hubby would love it, me, not so much.
Just went out to check the chickens. 48° out there and sunny. Chickens were making a big ruckus for some reason.

It's 53 here. We are heading to the store for distilled water because I thought I had some for the incubator, but I guess not.

Hi Meg. Interesting story. How many head have you built up to from the original four and your home is sandwiched between the interstate highway and the service road to it? Oh my!!

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is on the stove.
Clear blue skies and brilliant sunshine here after an overnight freeze.
It's three kings eve here. Big processions and party type activities in most of the villages.
Tomorrow is the three kings day which is the main winter celebration here.

Do you have pictures? I love traditional celebrations like this.
