Well, had four babies in 24hrs! All black :p

Got the chickies moved out of the box stall last night. I told my husband I want to keep it as calm as possible. Second round I whiffed trying to snatch an incredibly vocal barnevelder pullet, so... No luck there:rolleyes:

All caught up, but now I can't remember what I read... Must be about bedtime.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

There is one thing to be said for the trouble makers, you NEVER forget them. Our first Cocker champion finished her title in 6 shows with 3 majors(with a handler). Till the day she she had to be put down at 14, she never got lead broken. She always hopped, skipped, spun around, got legs caught in the lead etc. But as one judge said, when she finally hit her stride she is fantastic.

When she decided it was dinner time, she would strum the chain link bars and utter her continuous song of " uh uh uh uh uh uh." She would also drool all over. We got used to it. But when I sent her out for breeding, a very upset stud owner called to let me know she thought the dog was having a fit of some kind.I reassured her that"NO, she just decided it's time to eat." I'm sure she was thrilled to send her home.

She later had 8 puppies 6 orange/red 1 silver and one buff. First time I ever took reservations- the orange reds were sold out at birth. So of course they died one by one for ???? reason and just had the silver and the buff. Never jinxed a litter again by taking reservations.
That's too funny about the noises and drooling, Nancy :lau

That's very strange about the puppies dying. Wonder what happened?

And please, walk, trip and skip-to-ma-loo down memory lane all you like.:highfive:

thanks Meg but, I know how boring I can be. Still it's better than talking about lost love.
I guess it depends on what you lost it to...

I wouldn't use boring to describe you. No way. :p

And anyway, if we're not in the process of making new memories, why not reminisce about the old? Hard to be bored when you're learning something about someone. If we're not sharing the things about ourselves that are important to us without boring people, than we need to find new people. :hugs

wish you would penny, I'd love to hear about it. Somebody else's mom used to raise show dogs and her son would handle them. Even showed at Westminster. So did my ex boss-sorta boyfriend - wonder if they ever noticed each other. I didn't like long car trips.
Especially when boss would throw a major hissy fit if he lost.
