BYC Café

Unfortunately she didn't. It was kids day at the market. People were very interested in looking at them & touching them & told her how beautiful they were, but no one was spending any money on anything that expensive. All cash went to the really little kids whos parents had made punch, cookies, popcorn & were selling them for $1. Sad because there were some incredibly talented teens there, whos egos must've taken a hit that day. (I'm also not a fan of parents doing the work & then passing it off as their kids did it, but that's a whole other rant.)

That's a shame, she did such a nice job with them. I totally agree with you on the parents doing the work and the kids getting the credit, used to see that quite a bit when my boys were in school. My kids may not have had the "best" stuff at shows, but they did everything on their own.

Some of mine are still moulting.
I still have 2 that haven't molted yet. And one desperately needs to. Her feathers are shot. She's probably waiting until we get sub zero weather so she can have me worrying over her.

Idk why but I really want a cannoli right now :lau:oops:

Here you go Kelsey

Save one for me!

For Meg...
Some of these feathers are from her birds & some she bought, but she made all of the dreamcatchers. So proud of that kid! :love
