Mornin' friends! Sounds like the whole country is getting a break and a little warm up! We are finally melting here. We still have some snow that became ice on the ground. Yesterday I slipped on it. Went to grab the back on DD's car to keep from falling and sliced off part of my finger! Clean off! Ouch! Right, back to the weather...supposed to hit 41 here today.

OUCH! It is going to be hard to cook without your fingers, you need to take better care of them Hope you heal quickly.

Yeah I know! I was taking out the garbage...hubby said the same thing. At least I'm not missing much of it. And it's not throbbing today so it's getting better already.

Meat rabbits! We've gotta kill those cute little fluff balls! Okay, well not those, those will be the breeders for the meat. DD insists she came do it though!

I couldnt. I have no problem butchering chickens, but I do not think I could as easily process cute little bunnies. But I do think they are super tasty.

New Zealand White and New Zealand Red. I actually think it will be easier to do them than chickens. They're cute but have zero personality!

I think what is going to happen is they will have babies and we will have 10 baby bunnies for sale on craigslist!

Oh I agree. Rabbit is some of the best meat. I have never had domestic though, only hunted wild.
