Good morning! Good day so far! Just got back in from letting Alice and Abby out of the coop I locked them up in for the night. They are adjusting to living with Lucy first, and then the rest of the hens. Bachelor pad set up. The cockerels will have to wait until they are older before they can be with the girls again.

It sounds like a busy day!

We have sunshine today about fell over when I saw it

You too, huh? We've had foggy, misty, cloudy weather for the last week and a half. Sun came up and I was like who turned the "lights on"!

The nuts need to be chopped very fine in the Angel Fingers. BTW, Lady Fingers don't have nuts at all. They are a soft spongy cake type cookie used in Tiramisu.

Of course not! If they did they wouldn't be called LADY fingers.

It sounds like a busy day!

Every day has been busy since the two cockerels turned 4 mos a couple weeks ago. It's like the hormone switch was turned on. So, I just keep trying different configurations and have finally settle on a bachelor pad. Hope this idea works. When they are older I'll try some integration. After all, having hens raise chicks is the whole point.

I was pretty excited to see it this afternoon too! Wow! There's a sky above those clouds!!

Bella immediately began playing with Skittles when I took them to the fields today.

She also made a new friend and really ran her butt off with him. He is a 1 yr old intact black lab. But she reopened a cut on her toe and started limping and bleeding so we had to cut it short with only about 30 minutes of playing.

Awwww how awesome!!! Skittles seems like he is NOT having it though!!
