? I am not the one wrestling! The bracket seems to have a lot of Seniors in it.

The brackets are usually set up such that the "weakest" player/team goes against the "strongest", next "weakest" against next "strongest". That way the "strongest" don't take each other out but end up at the top of the final standings as they were before playoffs started.

Assuming it is like other sports "weakest" are those with the "worst" win-loss record, the "strongest" are those with the "best" record. I wouldn't expect the wrestler's age/school year would have any sway in the bracket. Most likely there are a lot of seniors because they are the strongest contenders. The fact that your son is in with them says a lot about his abilities.
