I'll have a cup of that afternoon pot and thanks. More mowing today. Trying to beat the rain that's predicted for the next week.
Just seen on the noon news that a lady deputy sheriff in the Denver area was attacked by a mountain lion. Fortunately there were several other deputies there to help. Everyone was ok. The lion ran off.

Yeah, they don't seem to fear people.

I have heard of some with mountain lions in the area taking a shot gun out with them. A stick might not be enough to ward them off

Never had one show here or even close ... Thank Heavens I would not have an aversion to carry a shotgun either

Had to laugh at the "need to weed my roof again" comment I can safely say you're the only one I've ever heard say that.

It's quite entertaining watching peoples reaction when I say that, or when I say I live in a hole in the ground. It often takes a few moments for the signal to filter through the noise.
Very few people stop the conversation and say "what!"

It's just after 4:30 here and I just finished my lunch. I'm getting pulled in 5 different directions at work today. I'm so glad I'll be back working on Dad's house tomorrow.
When I left for work this morning I had plans to review the procedure of one of the cable builders. I never even so much as LOOKED at it!!
