BYC Café

Meanwhile, back in the jungle, three of the few things I really care about these days.
Lock, Punch and Rivit.

Yes, trying to keep my mind off the money we are losing. About $9,000. Today.
I've chosen not to look because I know it will be ugly. I heard that all the stock market gains of the last 3 years have gone bye bye.

We are supposed to shelter in place until April 7th
I don't think I have that much food and will need chicken feed as well. The alpacas are set for a couple of months I think. By then there should be grasses for them to eat on their own though they would be pretty pissy if they don't get their maintenance pellets.

Hey Bruce, I just got some of Rons starter. I remember the other day you said you almost killed yours. What were you doing wrong? I want to avoid as many mistakes as possible, if I can.

People. We are intrepid. We carry on.

Am I worried? Yes.
Am I optimistic? Yes.
Am I freaking out? No.

I have always tried to teach my kids to never freak out during a crisis. There will be plenty of time when this is over to look back & freak out. :old
When I was about 16 years old One of my Uncles was lighting a bbq with lighter fluid. Let us just say he over did it! The flames were heading for the side of the house and he was running around screaming. I took a step back, evaluated the situation and came up with a plan.

I turned on the faucet at the side of the house and calmly walked over to the fire and put it out!

My Uncle said that was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. I told him that freaking out was not going to ever help
