Yep it does Sour!

I know testing is jumping as well, but none of it makes you feel any more secure.
I would feel more secure if they tested EVERYONE. I have no reason to believe I have the virus but who knows, maybe someone in So. Cal or the airplanes to get back here had it. If asymptomatic people can find out that they do indeed have the virus, they would (hopefully) hide in their homes for the 14 days and not go out for anything.

She's very upset and finding the confinement due to the virus difficult to cope with.
She is lucky to have you for emotional support Shad. I don't see a way out of "can't work, can't pay rent" and "need rent income to pay the bills". It is a terrible game of dominoes falling, everyone is reliant on income from whatever source.

Thick fog and cold temps here this AM and it has not started to snow yet although they are saying anywhere from 6 to 12 inches are possible.
Now that is just not fair!!!

I have just signed up with a grocery delivery service (the customer orders online, you shop and deliver to them). Have I lost my ever lovin' mind?
So you are going to the store to shop, then deliver it? Do they hold back the TP so you can buy it for the "customer"?

We weren't scheduled for this delivery, it must be yours.
Don't you hate when they deliver your package to the wrong address??

It's a positively glorious day for practicing social distancing!
And the dogs seem to be taking that very seriously :D

Our feed store is doing it that way they come to the car ask what you need
sadly stopped and needed grower and oyster neither had come in
We have to call ahead or order via email. They'll bring it to the back door when you arrive.

Good thing I have cats and chickens to talk to!
Especially since DH was spending a lot of time working on the other house.

I have heard of a plan here that would begin testing for active covid 19 and immune factors to it. Those with immune factors but not active would go back to work since they have had covid 19 and are immune. Those tested as active would go into quarantine

Survival meeting here this afternoon. I actually got listened to for a change. There is an apartment attached to the main house. Until the crisis it was rented by the day/weekend/week to people who visited the National Park and mountains. This ground to an abrupt halt and wiped out a substantial income. There are quite a few people we know who are about to lose the homes they rent because they cant work. Some will get state benefit but it's not enough to pay the rent where they are currently. I've suggested they rent it out very cheaply to a couple who have to move at the end of the month. Just to have it in use would be good and any income generated would be welcome. It was the very cheaply that caused the most distress to the owners.
That's how you pull together. Good job!

Theoretically if we all had quarantined for the 2 weeks initially called for we would have already accomplished stopping the spread, or so they say. But then we don't hear about very many that have recovered. It sounds like people can have this longer than two weeks, and be carriers even after they get past an infection of it for a couple weeks. Too much conflicting information about the recovery rates. I wish they would talk more about that.

Sounds like it would be a win-win solution to all involved...a place to live for the couple and a bit of income for the owners (something is better than nothing).
A bit of income from a known source sounds much smarter than a larger amount from unknown individuals.

That's my thinking. I like them which also helps.

If they have enough effective, accurate tests, that would be the way to go. I've read about a community in Northern Italy that stopped the infection in its tracks by testing everyone in the community. Anyone testing positive went into quarantine, whether or not they showed symptoms (and about 40% of the positives had no symptoms). I suspect it's those asymptomatic carriers that are driving this thing; surely by now, the word is out about staying home if you are sick.

South Korea stopped the virus with testing too so this method has worked twice.

We do need more tests for sure

Who/what is the little white and brown pup?
That is Skittles, dad's dog.
This is the day he came home to live with me.
