I don't work during the winter so guess I was practicing social isolation before it was a 'thing'. Good thing I have cats and chickens to talk to!

We enjoy each other here that helps lot's of baking stuff new ways to old things.... Both boys are drenched being outside the small coop does not seem to mind the rain Red went out to be vocal, Smudge soon joined

What kind of shop do you have? Closing for the time being would be a good idea. Perhaps someone could call with an emergency need.
We jumped nearly 800 today, but we still only have 5 cases in our county.

Another drizzly, rainy day here. DH has a tarp over the new coop and may try to do a few things under it. I'm going to take care of a few domestic chores. And now I have Queen Bee back in sick bay. Think she needs a little more TLC before she is 100%.

Survival meeting here this afternoon. I actually got listened to for a change. There is an apartment attached to the main house. Until the crisis it was rented by the day/weekend/week to people who visited the National Park and mountains. This ground to an abrupt halt and wiped out a substantial income. There are quite a few people we know who are about to lose the homes they rent because they cant work. Some will get state benefit but it's not enough to pay the rent where they are currently. I've suggested they rent it out very cheaply to a couple who have to move at the end of the month. Just to have it in use would be good and any income generated would be welcome. It was the very cheaply that caused the most distress to the owners.

Sounds like it would be a win-win solution to all involved...a place to live for the couple and a bit of income for the owners (something is better than nothing).
