Okay I'll settle for a difference in terminology and function.
This is what I would get in the UK if I went into a shop and asked for a tea strainer.

But, you got the term I was looking for which was ball infuser.

There are a lot of differences it language between The US and other English speaking countries.

Yes I do Penny; got some hatching eggs for Eve when she went broody last Sept. Have ended up with one boy and one girl, Obelix and Gigi (French breed, so French names, and expecting the cock to be large my son drew on his Asterix memories for that name!). They are approaching 8 months now; Gigi is laying well and is not noticeably bigger than the Welsumers, but Obelix is enormous - tall not fat. He can literally stand over the Araucanas and the smallest Flower hen, like a double decker chicken! I think he's still growing too... when he runs it's like watching someone on stilts

I think they are lovely looking. A bit of a shame they are primarily bred for meat. They still have that game bird look about them.

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made. Tea, kettle and ball infuser on the counter. I'm going to see if the women who is making my new tea pot is back in her studio today. Some people just seem to have disappeared since the lockdown.
There are a few people I know who were/are completely dependent on busking in one form or another; street artists is what I suppose one would call them. Of course the numerous fairs and exhibitions are closed.

Yes supposedly Barbies taste particularly good, but it's really apparent now that you'd get a very good sized carcass from the cocks too. I got them as supposedly white eggs layers, but it's an off white, so I'm hard pressed to tell the difference between the SFHs and these, and my grand plan to be able to tell who laid what by egg colour has fallen flat .

I was doing really well with the who laid which egg until the newer members of Tribe 2 started laying. I'm at it could be one of three now.
