Good morning!
Good Morning OFW! It's good to see you still have power.

Cold here! 2 degrees.... Thanks for the coffee! It is supposed to get breezy, but for now, the snow is insulating the house nicely.
Good Morning Margie!, Snow is a good insulater, sound as well as heat.
Stay warm!

Sun is finally shining here. We have some impressive drifts, but I bet it only totalled a foot or so of snow.

Only a foot should be easy for a tractor to clean up.

Good Morning Sour!, Don't you normally get a good nights sleep?

Good morning!  We're back to cold here after 5 days of 50's & 60's.  Low 40's from now until who knows when...according to the forecast.

:ep    Gee, only a foot or so of snow!??

Lol I just meant that they were talking much more snow, and some places got more then we did. Generally we measure our snowfalls in inches here, not feet. Course the snow on the ground can grow quite a bit if it never warms.

Yes DH has already been through cleaning the drive, and probably part of the road. He was a little worried that he would have to walk, if the drifts were to deep for his pick up. But he must have made it through, didn't come in complaining anyway.

Must be nice. Critter has caught a bug, so I spent the night on the couch. So instead of a tossing, turning, coughing sneezing, nose-blowing husband to keep me awake, I had barnacles cats. Not sure that was an improvement.

We were away for a couple of days (belated anniversary trip), and I never sleep well in a strange bed. Add the 'old man syndrome' to that and a solid night of sleeping is a luxury.

, take care of Critter - if he admits to being sick, it has to be serious.

I'm the same way (except for the 'old man' part, of course); the pleasure of going away to do something different is always tempered by my feeling groggy and cranky from sleep deprivation.

Glad you and the Princess did get an anniversary trip of sorts in, anyway.

But you are right about Critter - if it gets to him enough to make him whine, it really slows him down. It's so hard for a man to realize he's not Superguy.
