Hi FluffyColor, welcome to the group!
Hope you're feeling a little better Margie.
Me, I had a big day at work yesterday and today is my 'catch up' day at home. I devote the whole day to putting the house in order for the coming week, giving the coop a good clean, going into town to grocery shop, and if I'm lucky have a cuppa and a sit down for an hour in the afternoon to recover from it all!
Aside from a flaming argument with my Husband a day ago (which I just can't let go of yet) all is well. I am only getting 4 eggs a day from my 11 hens, but of those three have not started laying yet (any day now, they promise!), one has never laid for me (I think I adopted a geriatric bird - you all remember Momma, right?) and three are still trying to get over their first moult. I guess the fact that it is now Autumn and the days are shortening is also contributing to less egg laying.
The plan was that hopefully the three pullets will come into lay in time to get me through Winter with some eggs on hand. I am watching them like a hawk for signs, lol.
