Hi FluffyColor, welcome to the group!

Hope you're feeling a little better Margie.

Me, I had a big day at work yesterday and today is my 'catch up' day at home. I devote the whole day to putting the house in order for the coming week, giving the coop a good clean, going into town to grocery shop, and if I'm lucky have a cuppa and a sit down for an hour in the afternoon to recover from it all!

Aside from a flaming argument with my Husband a day ago (which I just can't let go of yet) all is well. I am only getting 4 eggs a day from my 11 hens, but of those three have not started laying yet (any day now, they promise!), one has never laid for me (I think I adopted a geriatric bird - you all remember Momma, right?) and three are still trying to get over their first moult. I guess the fact that it is now Autumn and the days are shortening is also contributing to less egg laying.

The plan was that hopefully the three pullets will come into lay in time to get me through Winter with some eggs on hand. I am watching them like a hawk for signs, lol.

Hello FluffyColor! I like tea too, especially in the summer...if it ever gets here.

Speaking of which, more of the white stuff today. :barnie

Finishing my coffee and heading out for a much more quiet day at work today!

Have a great day everyone!

mswiggles, everyone has been having headaches lately. maybe longer days or the weather changing ? I hope it is better.

Mtn Margie, hope you feel better, too. You had to do all that rock moving with abdominal pain?
Very sorry about that.

Krista- deep breath, he is a guy. There is no fixing that so -let it go.
I let things slide to the point that I realize he depends on it, then-I SNAP!
Then he is good for while.
Fear, it can be a good thing.

Hiya Moxie! Don't worry, we all have days where (due to time constraints etc) we just pop in for a look and leave before posting! Glad to see you pop in today though.

The dust seems to have settled after my fight with hubby the other day. I told him where he went wrong, lol. We are both just under an immense amount of stress with the whole IVF thing, and hubby's job is not looking very secure at the moment. Anyway, we stepped out a 'how to proceed plan' and I will try my best to move on calmly from here.

@ Krista - let it go - don't hold a grudge (like me) Life is too short.

It's so hard though Sour, he really upset me. How do you move past that hurt and pretend like it never happened.....

Hey, Krista, it took me a long time to get to this point. The 3 key phrases for a successful long term relationship - Yes dear. You're right dear. I'm sorry dear.

The Princess gets mad, unloads and gets over it. I get mad, brood, and internalize. We have learned that when the 'other' is being an unreasonable butt head, it is best to not 'engage'.
