Oh my goodness....if I didn't have to get ready for work I would tell you all about the ghost in THIS house. But, that shall have to wait until I return.

As far as Miss Wiggles, she is 12 & 1/2 years old and has arthritis. She just can't make the couple mile walks that the boys go on!

Krista- I shall keep my fingers crossed for you!

I love ghost stories, I don't think I believe in them, but I love them.
We lived in an old- chicken coop, actually. Long story, but my parents turned it into a house so the air currents were strange and everything was askew, so we had a lot of ghosts too.

The property had a nice big house on it, and the man was building a top of the line chicken house.
Before the chicken house was finished, their house burnt down so he tried to finish off the chicken house into a people house. This was unacceptable for the man's wife, they sold and moved.
Another man bought it with his wife and moved in, apparently it depressed the new tenant's wife so much she died of depression.

Then my parents bought it thinking they could camp there until they built a house.... never built that house.

My parents were...complicated.

My husband says that is why I have such a peculiar sense of humor, it was a survival tactic.

That's really interesting. The story about the house I mean. So you are still living in that same house? Interesting that for some people it was a depressing place but you have made it into a happy home.

All people are complicated I think. I think I should come with a warning label - "Doesn't play well with others." I have trust issues. That's why I like animals so much. Animals never disappoint you. And they are always happy to see you.

I get the peculiar sense of humour. I am a little that way myself. It takes a while for me to feel free to exhibit it. But every now and then.....

OH NO! Not my house, not a happy home.
Complicated parents.

I live in a happy home, my parent's house is still the chicken coop, and unfortunately, never happy.

But it was a comfortable home. (Not counting the complicated parents.)
The dimensions were strange because my dad had to put a kitchen and a bathroom in it. It was a huge bathroom. You could swing a dead cat in it , as the saying goes. I never swung a dead cat anywhere, so I don't know for a fact. But when I was little, I could do a cart wheel in it!

The roof slanted down to about four feet off of the ground so counters and cabinets were on the sides of the house.
I think my dad did a good job with it. He made cabinets out of pallets, and they really looked nice.
They spent all of their money buying up land, the house was just a place to be for them.

Because of the complicated parents, I have serious trust issues. Keep your circle small.
But value the few people in it.
