They don't like the rain? I can't remember from when my family had them when I was growing up.

They HATE getting wet, and are prone to pneumonia.

I guess the Kashmiri type goats must have a different kind of coat then; they live out on the headland at Great Orme in north Wales, normally (though they did take over the town in the lockdown, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-52103967 ) and it rains a lot in Wales.

Muggy here too, got 1/2"+ rain last night, but still once and cool.
I see another heat wave starts in one week, happyfrikinbirthdaytome,

Morning and thanks for the coffee! It rained here again last night but it all rolls off heading downhill. Sunny for the morning with a high of 71F. This is the weather that we live for up here in the sticks, LOL! DS$ is back to weightlifting and light wrestling drills as the collarbone has healed well and next week he can wrestle as usual.

That's great news about your son! Broken collar bones hurt something fierce I've heard.
