BYC Café

Good morning Café. Coffee is on.
I heard from a friend we are having layoffs at work. Said friend is concerned that she is on the chopping block. I hope not. I don't want to be on it either.
I am sorry to hear about possible layoffs!

Geez, just what you need something else looming overhead.

I'd ride unemployment until it ran out while working on the houses then try to find something else.
I quite enjoyed my 2 years of UE...before despairing at the agesim and experienceism I encountered before going freelance(doing the same jobs with the same people just thru another 'leaser').

Sorry to hear about trouble at work. With everything that is going on in our world already stressing our minds, no one needs to have to fear for their job on top of that. 😢

One of Kerrie's pullets dropped her first egg off the roost last night. I wasn't even thinking about who did it when I was scooping the boards. I just put the egg in the basket and left it in the coop.
I put my thumb through the thin shell when cleaning it along with the rest of the nightly haul. Bella got to eat it.
I think it was Mackenzie. She's just over 17 weeks and I wasn't expecting one to start laying so soon.

It was under the section of the roost where I put her two brothers the night before. If it was one of them I'm going to be a gozillionaire!
That's early.
I wonder if roosters laid eggs there would be less drama.:p
