I can walk into the pen, squat down, put my hand out palm up and move my fingers in a 'come here' gesture and she will walk up and stop just in front of my hand and let me slide it under her and pick her up. She climbed up to my shoulder and went for a ride. I couldn't help but to stick her in the Cranberry Vibernum and take a picture.

I would like anyone's unvarnished opinion on this car. I am thinking about buying it.
I mentioned a while ago that I was looking at getting a Kia Niro to replace the Prius. I wanted something with a bit larger cargo area for a Doberman and something that could tow a small trailer for getting pallet scrap for burning in the stove, mulch for the landscape beds and wood chips for the chicken run. A Niro can tow 2800 pounds. The trailer I'm looking at is 5'x8' and weighs 550 pounds. It is large enough to haul the lawn tractor if I need to take it for maintenance too.
Me being the frugal tree hugger that I am, must have a hybrid. That color also happens to be my favorite in the line up.
If I decide to get it, we'll take a very long day this Friday after DHs clinical trial visit to drive out to RI to get it.
I did a trade-in value analysis on my Prius and it's worth no more than $1500 on trade-in. It's in rough shape! It has an evap leak so the check engine light won't go off and that will keep it from passing NYS inspection in Feb, the A/C compressor is shot, the rear hatch is extremely fickle about opening, the front grill is missing after hitting a fox several years ago, I can hear it getting louder because I think a hole is developing in the exhaust system and the headliner is embedded with about 1,423,968,201 Doberman hairs that will never come out. On the plus side, I have a full set of winter wheels (mounted with TPMS valve stems) that come with the car. The dealer offered $1300 sight unseen. Seems worth it just to be rid of it.
Opinions welcome... :caf

The Kia Niro hybrid is what I would get right now.

With the condition of the Prius, It is not worth fixing at this point.

Indeed.
All the diarrhea is taking it's toll on her, uh, well, exit portal. She was reaching back trying to lick it.
I put a cold damp compress on it to soothe it and I could tell she appreciated that. You know it's true love when you are willing to hold a cold wet paper towel to your dog's butt hole!
you can also use sudocreme (sold for nappy rash) on dogs
