I've seen this thread before but never clicked on it until now. Glad I did! Days are definitely getting shorter! I'm locking up the chickens at 5:30 now instead of 9...I miss the later nights. They haven't slowed down laying yet but two are molting..lol they are gonna freeze pretty soon since one just started molting this week. I was doing some before the ground freezes weeding this afternoon and let the chickens run around in the garden while I was weeding. I felt like a haggard mother watching 11 chickens, a dog, and trying to weed! I have a busy road right next to my property so sadly they don't get to free range much. They loved to scratch in the dirt as I pulled the weeds out, lol they tilled half the raspberries for me they got a treat of pumpkin skins when they went back into their run. Oh! I should've taken a pic for the contest! Or did it close already? Anyway. That's enough for now! Have a good evening!

That'll happen. Sounds like you got a lot done yesterday! We're at a balmy 65° today, heading for a high of 21° Sunday

Well, looking at the big picture, it was near to nothing.
My mobility budget continues to decrease.(bitchandwhine)

Why did that happen?

I have congenital spinal Stenosis and was pushing a roll or roofing up a ladder. It compressed the spine and crushed the nerve.

I had it all drilled out so am much better now
