I met one airdale is she was meaner than a snake. I don't down the breed for one, for certain. I didn't like heelers because of one of met and all the stories I'd heard. Of course I know better now

I always liked the Airdales that came in to be groomed.

There aren't many around here that I've seen. I'll blame an owner far before I'll lump a breed together. ( Not that I'm downing owners here ) But, of course, many people put breeds in a box and label them bad, uncontrollable etc.

Welsh?

Welsh are smaller than Airedales, same size as Lakelands, but otherwise look almost identical. Airedales are actually quite big dogs. The other two were bred to be ratters. What's said about breeds are always sweeping generalizations of course; Lakelands are supposed to be smart and not to shed, but Archie isn't blessed with either of those traits...the soft undercoat drops everywhere, all year round

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Dad's roof gets finished today!! And with it the two largest projects that needed to be done there will be complete. I'll be spending all my free time there until all the projects are done. The goal is to have the house mortgage ready by the end of the year.

The vacation has been cancelled. I spoke with Nan and she said if DH went down there and was exposed to all those different people he'd have to self quarantine for at least 10 days before she'd come back to stay with him. I let his sister know that we could visit for an hour or so at her house but that's it.

Yeah, I knew that but someone said smaller than Airedales , so i thought of Welsh right away. I like them.

Well, I said it. Airedales are the largest terrier breed and the picture of the dog in question was next to what looked like a smooth fox terrier so the size threw me. But he is actually a pup. Some people refer to dogs as pups their whole lives. LaFleche is clearly not one of them! Neither am I.
