BYC Café

I'd have opened it right away!
It was too dark and too late by the time I got home and I had too many things to do, surprise, surprise. I was at work all day yesterday and never got a chance to get out to my car to open up a case. Now I'm out running the dogs and doing all the rest of things life throws my way. I'll find out soon enough.

Two big trees came down since I've had the dogs out to run. I suspect it was Tuesday when we had the gusty winds.
One looks like it has a fungal attack inside and the other massive insect damage.

I'm glad I wasn't around when they feel. The bigger one with insect damage feel across the trail.

The new owners may like the color of the floor, even if you don't. Who knows?
I think she meant it was too dark outside to bother opening the box because she wouldn't be able to see the color properly. :fl it looks good this morning!

that's BIG!
Sure is, I don't think I'd want to pilot any boat I couldn't even see the front end of.

Looks strong on the outside but held together with ... not much! Glad it was in the woods, not next to your house(s).

I moved the coops 3 days ago, and the mature birds adjusted the first night, as they are used to it. But this year's hatchlings have taken till now to remember to go to the new location, not hang around the old one looking for their beds at bedtime... just my determined young treehugger Harlech still giving me the runaround...:th

Good morning, cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Penny!

Had around 80 head of elk run through this morning, stopping traffic on a busy highway. I always get a twinge of sadness watching those poor buggers getting hung up in the fence, obviously scared and trying to escape. Looking at elk never gets old, though.
