Good morning, Cafe! Thanks for the coffee. DS$ just walked out of the house to go for a run..., it is 19F ?????
I am staying in and drinking hot coffee until it warms up a bit or at least gets some sun going. We are supposed to hit 42F. I think some more cleaning is on the list for today.

Just above 32 here this morning, back to coat and gloves for chores.
Dancing with the blue line, but not too bad yet.
No projects today(probably), gonna get some chili going and rest my sore body.

As mentioned, today is that last warmish day to enjoy. I decided to visit the lower trails as they become impassable in mid-spring.
We were enjoying them until Bella found this.

I ripped it out of the ground with the intent of throwing it out. I turned around and started heading back out and had just called Skittles to come to me too when he screamed. He had his back right foot caught in another trap.
I got him out in about 10 seconds and carried him about 1/2 mile before putting him down. He ran around without any signs of injury but I'll be keeping an eye on that foot.
Neither trap was tagged. That's illegal. The game warden will be getting a call. I think the land owners set them. They are rotten, nasty people.

that's awful, horrid! I didn't know such things were still legal anywhere. What are they intended to catch?
