Last evening I spent some hours gathering 17 chickens that missed the closing of the automatic door and proceeded to roost on the roofs, on the porches, in trees, bushes and some even decided to hide in the nettles and two were found all tangled up in the netting.

My Airedale Terrier puppy had a weigh in yesterday: 20 kg at five and a half month old. Starting to build quite some muscles due to the daily power workout playing with the Fox Terrier all day long.

Although somewhat blurry it looks as if he has almost doubled his size!

And the only thing I remember from my childhood regarding kidneys, was that the whole house smelled terribly of urine when my mother prepared them.
Not my favourite childhood memory.

Like dinner in a urinal.

I might have to add that I have a very sensitive olfactory sense, so for others the smell might not have been so offensive as it was for me.

I am very tolerant of odors, but the 'urine smell' of kidneys was far too much for me to regard them as edible.

Yes, I am hand stripping him (rolling coat) and my poor fingers are already protesting.
I will try to take some new pictures of him tomorrow.

That is what made me have carpal tunnel in my left so bad
But the coat looks and feels better and will not matt so bad you can brush or comb any narls out.. Love the breed
