I have a couple dog clippers Son has decided I should do his with a comb on it
We do not have covid right here in town and wear masks so will get my pedicure and the old mans hair trimmed .. Spent the day out with the Son shopping for his Dad

Yeah, not really interested in 'whitewalls' around the ears.
I'm just happy to get it all cut about the same length,
the wispy bits can be a challenge with no one to help.
My daughter has done it for me a couple times, but no visits with covid.

Another chilly day up on deck. We'll barely get over the freezing point.

That will be us tomorrow. It is supposed to snow 2-3". At that temp it is going to be a heavy wet snow.

If the 'jackasses' (our governors term) continue with their misbehavior, Murphy will be shutting NJ down again.

Our governor is being more polite, so is the the Health Commissioner. There is a Covid status every Tuesday and Friday. But I'd bet some big bucks that they are using your governor's term (if not something more harsh) in private. The vast majority of our cases are due to people not following the "guidance" to cut out the social gatherings.

We have these kind here Ron.

I think "those types" exist all over the country. Thus we have a Covid explosion all over the country.

Thanks for the link aart. I suspect they'll have better luck once the new Interior Dept head is installed. So many Federal program heads in place now are unqualified for the position, even worse those that publically dump on the agency they are heading.


I hope she stays healthy.


Calmed down? Maybe it is there, it is flaring big time in the USA. Over 200K new cases on the 27th. And now up to 267K dead to date.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee, Perris.
DH is scheduled for his colonoscopy the second week in January and they will remove several biopsies along the colon. I will research a bit more on the Alzheimer's/diarrhea link.

We went food shopping and I wanted to go to JoAnn Fabrics for an iron on patch. The Christmas décor was on sale and I found little wreaths that fit nicely on the doors in our house. I put three up on interior door and one on the front door. I haven't decorated a house since 2012. DH insisted on paying for them as a gift to me and they make me smile every time I look at them.

Good evening, Cafe. Brought some cake to share:

Made some peppermint patties, as well. Hope somebody has a sweet tooth

Went to the chiropractor and after some adjustments and muscle work, I feel much better. Have had a headache on and off since Friday. Also had him adjust my shoulders with no real faith it would help... Am pleasantly surprised at my range of motion afterwards. I think I'll sleep better tonight.

Gorgeous cake, if you need help removing it, I can easily eat an entire cake in one sitting. I've been working toward that since I was born (I think) at 73 it's a finely honed SKILL!!!! YUM
