Back from wrestling practice just now because the drive was snowy and people are morons out there on the plains! LOL! I have steaks bought for New Year's Eve and a bottle of wine.

Probably will sleep through New Year's Eve, like I do for everything else. 18F here, ordered another pair of fleece lined jeans. If I'm not wearing jeans, I'm not wearing anything at all. Not a happy camper

Bella is starting to become an anti-snooze alarm. She's been sticking her cold, wet nose in my ear when I try to drift back off. She is also now called the Snow Nasher. She loves to bite off great gobs of snow from the bank on the deck. Weirdo.

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee. The snow is gone and the sun will shine in a bit, but it is cold again. High above freezing on Thursday, or so they say.
I don't need to bake anything because I don't need to eat anymore not quite so healthy foodstuffs and DS$ is going into tournament prep and smoothies with protein powder and nuts and fruit, don't make my kitchen warm up.
I know, I will boil some eggs later on today...

How much snow do you have there, Tonya? We are brown right now. Well, white with frost at the moment, but supposed to be 32°f (0°c) today. Started with 6° (-14°) this morning

It has been wonderfully sunny here today with temps a bit above freezing, but wintry showers are forecast, so we may see some snow yet. Better a dusting of the white stuff than more rain, here and for now anyway!

How much snow do you have there, Tonya?

All but about 3" melted off the roofs I couldn't shovel.
There is about 6" or so left on the ground where I didn't put the snow banks.
There is a low spot across the path from the deck to the chicken pen gate that flooded and then froze into a glass like sheet of ice. I walk around it on the frozen snow.
It flurried 2 nights ago and dusted the path. I forgot about the ice and my feet shot right out front under me yesterday morning when I was walking out to go fill the chickens water reservoir. I slammed down on my right elbow. I'm glad I didn't break it. I'd be screwed. There's a big bump there and it hurts if I touch it but that's fine. I can still work.
