You are pretty far north! When do you get 12hours of daylight?

At Spring Equinox(~March 22).
But....I've got supplemental lights running at 13 hours.
Might could have managed that better tho.

So... the new year is off to a funny start.
This morning when I was filling feeders Fabio came running out the pop door, both wings down all shaggy linebacker to herd and shuffle the girls about.
I smiled and turned around to keep working. I heard a little commotion and turned back to see Napoleon doing the exact same behavior with his two little girls. How cute!

Fabio, however, was NOT amused and went after him. Fab jumped to flog Nap and Nap jumped to flog back but realized mid-air how stupid that would be and gave a great flap to propel himself backwards and took off in the opposite direction!

IKR. Fabio clocked in at just over 7 pounds on their last health check. Napoleon is just at 1 whole entire pound! He's a great little guy though.
