Hello Meg. Sorry about the wind damage all around. Been a lot of wind in these parts too but fortunately no damage here.
Looks like Easter at your place by the looks of them eggs. Mighty colorful.

Howdy, Pert Seems like after a break they are a little more colorful. Maybe that's my imagination. Will be glad to check some egg customers off of the waiting list.

I really don't like the wind. Sorry to hear you're getting it as well. How are your temps?

We are at the highest level currently but the stay at home order has been lifted.

I can get a haircut now but Great clips is very backed up!

We're staying a bit above average temperature wise anymore but turn around and get more snow events than usual. Go figure.

I soaked her for 30 minutes while gently scrubbing at the vent. It was starting to really bother her by the end of the time so I rinsed her, dried her and smeared a good gob of triple antibiotic ointment on her. I think the tissue is necrotic.

Any thoughts on what to do now? I'm not seeing a good outcome for her.

There isn't much more you can do DL apart from keeping it clean and watching out for fly strike.

Another pleasant day here, Notch, Donk, Knock and Myth making their way up to visit the ducks, or rather check to see if they've got any food left.
Clouds just moved in for the expected showers tomorrow I guess.

Could be some heavy lake effect between now and 4am.
