OKay my bad but still it is elderly for any dog .. I can recall how hard it was to let our old Papillon go at 24.

I tried a new pair of shoes today and was glad I had the foresight to bring an extra pair. They felt good walking around the house, but were killing me in about a 1/2 hr this morning.

@Meg-in-MT, whenever I buy a pair of shoes, I tell the sales person that I'm going to wear the around the house for a few hours, and I'll know if I have to return them or can keep them. Took 3 pair this last time to find one to keep.

Yeah, I should've tried them out a little longer I will try and break them in in small spurts.

By them myself that way or stick to brands I know fit.
Broke my left arch back long time ago .. Bone on top of the foot. Can make tying the biggest ouch

Oh jeez, that sounds painful.

The problem is I don't know what does anymore because my feet are changing. Need some extra wide pancake shaped shoes

The pain was bearable interesting more I used the foot less pain . Next morning was unbearable again. One of my Dog clients, her son was a podiatrist.
This was back early 80's, he stuck me in cast 6 weeks up to the knee.. Every now and then that foot will feel like that is pulling apart

Feet can be a problem! I have a big arthritis bump on the top of my right foot
