Mornin', y'all! :frow

Hubs and I joke that when the saucer magnolias bloom, that's a signal that we are about to get one more freeze . . . .

Yup, right on time.

The blueberries are in full bloom.

This is probably going to make a mess for the local strawberry growers; it may put paid to the blueberry crop as well.:(

And, I can probably say goodbye to this show:

@Shadrach Maybe your phone is like mine? When it rings, it shows the phone # of the caller near the top of the screen, along with the caller's name (if known). Near the bottom of the screen, two icons appear, a green one to answer the call, and a red one to reject it. You have to touch the icon of choice, and then swipe a short distance to one side for the phone to answer or reject the call - the two-step response is supposed to cut down on accidental answers and hang-ups.:idunno
It seems it likes an up swipe  No accounting for taste.:p
Some gorgeous blooms you've got there.

Funny how the Marans are so much smaller. My crosses are the same way. Are yours all the same age? What are the yeller ones again?
The Marans are 4-5-6 days younger than the Lt. Brahmas...which are bigger birds anyway.
It does look funny, gives me a grin.

They are so cute. I don't remember you saying brahmas, but I know you weren't getting exactly what you'd hoped. Have you had them before? I've got some dark brahmas and I love them. Fat birds. They are the grasshopper-eaten'est things ya ever saw.

My broody girl is hatching out some wee ones.

The look on the bottom ones face cracks me up :lau

ETA: she's a wyandotte mix hatched last year.

That one is the cutest thing.

Not sure a tax return is the place to deal with that.
I got my first in check form, haven't gotten the second.
I hope they didn't try to deposit it in a long gone account I once received my refund to,
like they did to my daughter.
You get cheques!
Get a lot of bullshite here......

I may not have mentioned it.
Yes, the Ameraucanas I had hoped for did not hatch well, low fertility is what I was told.
So I grabbed the LB's from the local mill, not really what I wanted but best available that day.
I have had LB's a couple times before. I love the black and white and they are pretty mellow.
I don't love the feathered feet in the snow or the fact that they are great eaters but not great layers after the first year.
The last ones I had were sweethearts, I sold them as pets to a family with little kids.

Tried to check the status online....told me I didn't exist and after 3 failed tries locked me out.
Got a fat check the next day.
<shrugs>

Update on the 'alien on my abdomen'. Very little reaction to the tick/bite. What was left of the tick fell off yesterday. Still watching, but not too concerned. I've had Lyme disease and took part in a vaccine development program so may very well have resistance to the evil little spirochete.
