BYC Café

I have an eye doctor appointment this morning. I intend to ask for a Restasis or Cequa sample for my severe dry eye. The multiple times a day Thera tears helps but doesn't eliminate the pain in my right eye and both are always red. I'm sick of it. I don't know if either treatment will help (they are both cyclosporine) and work by reducing inflammation in the eye. It takes up to three months of treatment to see any noticeable improvement so I would want at least a 90 day supply. The stuff is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and with my deductible, I'd have to pay for it all. I'd like to know it actually works before making a several hundred dollar investment.
Yikes!
I hope they can find the cause of the problem and a viable solution.
Scary when your eyes are involved.

All the chickie babies made it thru their first night in the Big Coop.
One needed to be brought in for a sitz bath,
wasn't really pasted just a dingleberry gathering.
Luckily it was rather easy to catch.
It's always been a bit slow and small, hope it starts to thrive soon.

Should be able to work on the new awning today...before 2 days of rain.
Got the metal yesterday, single piece at the right width, but needs to be cut to lengths.
Not looking forward to that, working with metal is not my forte, but the angle grinder and a cut off wheel should make quick work of it.

@DobieLover let me know how the dry eye treatment works. I've been using the over the counter stuff (started on Thera Tears on your recommendation) with some improvement, but still not good. Princess is on the expensive stuff with marginal improvement so far.
It'll be a while. I walked in a 8:58 for my 9:00 appointment and was told it was for 8:00. No offer to try to squeeze me in. I turned around and walked out the door.
After doing some grocery shopping I re-scheduled for the 30th.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee. We have a beautiful sunny morning but are expecting rain this afternoon.

I sold the furniture and asked the buyer to remove it today if possible. I'd much rather have the room empty for painting than have to work around it with drop cloths.

I hope the new eye drops help!

That is poor customer service!

Bella fell asleep mid-suck!

Time to wake up. I need to run them before the rain starts.

Next door neighbor got 16 chicks yesterday. She said they all made it through the night, but she was so excited, she couldn't sleep and had to check on them every couple hours. :lau

Oh, how I remember doing that.

Some sunshine, now cloudy, some rain last night, some more due today. It's a good day to get stuff done in the house.
