Good morning and thanks for the coffee! The hay is done for now and the trip for DH to the eye doc went smoothly. The cataract is getting worse but not yet worthy of being removed, which is the big floatie thing. I would think that would bother me...
DL, sorry the snapper got caught in the fence. We had a bobcat saunter by last evening and heard reports of bears in the hood. Time to get the chores rolling so have a great day, Cafe!

We had a pretty strong thunder storm last night.

So did we. Started about 3 AM, we got up and closed the windows. It settled down then at 4 AM

KABOOM!

Glad nothing got hit, it had to be right on us.

Curiously I can access the markup tag things on my phone (where typing is a PITA) but not on my computer.

Goodmorning to all and thanks for the coffee. It managed to cool down to 78 during the night after getting up to 95 yesterday. At least it didn't get to 100 like I thought it would and they're predicting today and into the weekend. Then the high pressure moves north and we'll cool off a dab.

The things on the menu bar of the text entry box. They are not links on my computer (using Chrome) so I can't put in emojis, change text size or color, insert pictures. I can on my phone (running Safari). I've been able to do it on my computer with Chrome in the past. This problem started a month or so ago.

While in the browser and replying or making a post, click the three dots next to the floppy drive icon and then click on the two brackets icon to toggle bb code.

You will be able to insert smileys then. It sounds like bb code editing has been turned on for you.

It happened to me too. I might have done it while editing articles. The bb code is better for fixing some of he errors that happened when we moved to this platform.
