That would be sassafrass, autumn olive and a bunch of other junk trees and shrubs.
Oh, man do we have sassafras. I have to cut them back or they would eventually shade out one of the gardens. There is something good about them, though. They make great fire wood and kindling. I love the smell when I break up sticks. DH likes to put some of the grill for the smoke.

The humidity is down to 48% (and still dropping), which is the lowest I've seen in about two weeks. :bow Mother Nature!

Went longer than the (I think) allotted 4 hours?
Only by 1 hour. The issue is what was supposed to be a simple copy of process over and then go through it and just change the part number turned into an awful lot more than that. It's going to take so much longer than anyone anticipated to get this project finished.

Doesn't sassafrass equal rootbeer or the like? Boy-o-boy that would be good!
Y'all can send me boxes!
I needed a shower dearly. I was a swamp monster after pulling apart a log raft and tying ropes on the individual logs in order to pull them up out of the lake. I was the only one who brought muck boots to the party, although by the time the fun was over, I had mud all over and had emptied my boots of water about three times. No leeches, so I call that a win!
Diva, maybe advertise a hayfield for cutting, take all! LOL!
I am really happy with this beast, in fact, now we have a job for annihilating a patch of Russian olive trees. I have to figure out a job quote... a 4 or 5-inch diameter RO is great firewood so it would not be fed that, but we did try a piece of pine that size to see, and it ripped right through it. Yes, on the self-feeding...

Eh, maybe if you dig up the roots, clean them then steep in water for....I have no idea.
It does smell good, and they have lovely curvy bones, and multicolored leaves in fall.
But I have to surround my septic tank with copper sulfate to keep the feeder roots out of it.

Hmmm...I know Russian Olive trees are different than the Autumn Olive shrubs here.
AO have nasty thorns and multiple right angled branches that would not fit nicely into a chipper.
