DH and I got our Anniversary present today! A chipper that can chip a 5-inch diameter branch, but why would you if that is still firewood? We put it together and filled the oil and gas and fired it up and chipped some branches while dodging the raindrops. It works great! All we need to do is trim some of the weirdly shaped branches so they flow down the chute better. We are working the lower ranch tomorrow but Friday, we will get some "stuff" done!

Sweet!
Just because it can take 5" doesn't mean you have to feed it those.
Must be hefty so chips smaller stuff easier.
I assume it has a self feeder?

Finally drying out here....and cooler.
Time to tackle all the growth this rain and heat created.
Mowers, whacker, and loppers will be out in force the next few days,
well as much force as I can muster-which may not be much.
I almost wish I lived in a condo :gig SO tired of trying to keep up on the yardwork.

It just keeps raining and raining and raining here. The grass gets taller and no one wants to cut it.
Same here, the downpour does not stop... flooding everywhere, and even in some cities the cars are just washed away together with the people etc.
Mayor damages are being reported in many regions.

We are still lucky, as our damage is just some trees coming down, the meadows turning into vast lakes and my roses and other before beautifully blooming plants and bushes torn down by violents sqalls.

I just came in all wet and need to warm up, so have a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee with me

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
We had some gully washers yesterday. But not quite strong enough to wash away my newly placed mulch. It's a much softer rain today and the heat broke so I'm good with it.
Working from home today but I only need to put in 4 hours.
How many days are left until your DH will be back? And how does he like his vacation?
