Aw hang it, now they're out to MONDAY for the power restoration.

I called Consumers Energy and they had me as "not being in and outage area." HUH? I talked to a person and she said they are getting several calls like that; I sure hope they get that bug fixed. And hope for good weather so the linemen/women can get the work done. They're bringing in crews from out of state now.

Lord have mercy. Must have been quite a storm to have caused so much damage In the first place.

Astrid's first day out with the kids. Seven days old.

She had them out all day today too. They were zipping all over the place with her but she stays pretty close to the coop and run.

Well went after 4 marans came home with these there is 4 but just 1 marans she said as we loaded them they have mites. Little coop Smudge does not roost in anymore so let the girls just 4 in with him in main coop put the new 4 by themselves in the little coop dea and vaseline on them sure they where being killed

We are back from a trip to the coast. It was much nicer there. We went to Pt Arena on the Mendocino coast.

We went to the light house

And the pier

We did hike some too. This is on pelican bluffs and is part of the San Andreas fault

It was much cooler weather there!

It's supposed to cool off tomorrow. I sure hope so. So many things I want to get done.

I did turn the compost pile so that I could start a new pile. Then I was soaked with sweat. Sat outside in the (slight) breeze for a bit then started the generator so I could take a shower.

I'm so over this power outage. Three-four days to go...
