There will be pictures this week. Probably not as awesome as the sunrise on the beach pictures from May but still pretty nice... I hope.

Bella made a new friend at the fields this morning. A 5 year old chocolate lab named Maggie! I was shocked to see how she instantly liked Maggie. It usually takes Bella quite some time to warm up to any new dog. There must have been something about her.
Now she really needs a bath! At one point she had two huge white slobber strands wrapped around her muzzle.

We're going to visit our best friends today, and Freya will get to meet their dog.

Freya has done SO well here! She was timid and skittish for a couple days, but has gotten over that. Now when she meets someone new, she goes right up to them for sniffing and patting. Before, she'd pull away and bark.

Probably not as many Horseshoe crabs in any case. How are you going to keep up your arm strength?

What does "ear clipping" mean exactly?

I managed to wash and hang 2 loads of clothes, run the dogs, mow the lawn (ours and the chickens), clear all the tools off the porch and leaf blow it, take the old wheels off the trailer and drop them off with the new wheels to the garage for a swap out, completely clean the car and start packing it, dumped and hosed out the two stuffed full doody buckets in the coop sick), gave butt baths to 4 hens (followed by a nice hot shower) and cleaned the house.

Errrmm... how about you swing by for a moment and get all this done at my house as well before you leave for your well deserved vacation?
At your pace it sure would not take too much of your time, I promise!

Bring your dogs and I'll run them together with mine while you are busy...
