Looks like fall is starting to show its colors, just a bit.

That trail does look a bit hairy in places. Glad you get such a great view!

We started a hike up the side of Okemo Mountain. 3 miles up. Made it about 1.75 miles before DH conceded defeat and we turned around. I thought that was a GREAT job on his part all things considered.
So we hiked back down, hopped in the car and drove around the other side of the mountain and drove up to the top parking lot then hiked 0.5 mile to the fire tower. I climbed up after tying the dogs to the base while DH sat on a rock and waited for me. The first picture is him on the rock that I took from the top of the tower.
We saw a Fisher cat dart up and across the path on the way up. That's why Skittles is leashed in a couple of the pictures.
It's so hard to truly capture the majesty of the scenery with a phone camera. It was gorgeous.

Rain is expected today. We're going to do a self guided tour of covered bridges and visit the Simon Pearce glass shop in Quechee when we see the bridge there. I'm hoping to pick up a seconds glass pumpkin while there!

Oh, my... I LOVE glass.

The Fallasburg Fall Festival is this weekend, and it is literally 10 miles from my house. I've gotten some beautiful items there, including some glass.

@Mtn Margie So there are still some people enjoying these reunions. I am glad you had such a good time.
I still have contact with some fellow students from university and even friends of primary school. But of course a lot have passed already and there will always be those I'd rather forget they existed.
