I slept very fitfully last night. My mind was certainly ready to come home and get back to work.

Same here, kept waking and not going back to sleep, finally got up and read for an hour.

I go the other route when this happens to me. I work non-stop all day long and then pass out. That usually does the trick to allow my exhausted body to beat my overactive brain into submission and let me sleep.

I always leave the house nice and clean so I don't have to worry about anything other than laundry (if the rental house didn't have a washer and dryer) but you still have to unpack and put everything away.
The problem is, 20-year old boy in my house makes a horrendous mess in my absence. I told him to feel free to use the house during the day for college study. He did. I can tell because of the huge pile of hemp bedding and chicken feathers under the stool he likes to sit at. And the same spread up and down along the carpet runner in the kitchen. And the splattered fermented feed all over the counters, sink, window and faucet.

Yes, good point...am definitely lacking in physical activity.
