She got tested yesterday morning. She was told that she'd have the results tomorrow. I figured between that, the paving work and me not feeling so hot, it would be best if I worked from here.

I need one piece of metal roof cap material. It comes in 10' lengths. I can use it as (2) 5' pieces just as easily. 5' will fit in my car, 10' won't. I'm going to go buy it and take a pair of tin snips. I'll tell the owner (this is a U-Pick sort of place) that I'm cutting it in half so it will fit in my car.

I've hauled home 12' long pieces of J-channel by sticking them through the drivers side rear window down into the foot space on the front passenger side. I did the same with some aluminum fascia. I wrapped it up well with shrink wrap and some of the plastic red flags so there were no sharp edges. You could try that instead of cutting it in half.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We are supposed to get rain today, we shall see. I delivered firewood to a family that all had their shots and were currently recovering from the Vid. I guess the keyword is recovering and never got really sick... and now my neighbor is getting tested for it as well. (And so it lurks...)
DL, I hope you recover quickly from this, whatever it may be, and enjoy working from home and just rest when you can. I hope Nan recovers quickly as well! The "Back-to-School Cold" is making its rounds too.

Tractor Rasslin' wore me out
Wanted to do a quick ride mow,
because I was concerned about the battery sounding weak the last couple times.
Started right up, good and strong, Yayyy!

Then mower wouldn't engage, Damn.
Had to take it off and clean it out,
luckily belt and bearings are fine but was all packed tight with grass.

Glad there's one more cuppa, might fuel me to go back out and put it all back together.
