August?? You don't live nearly that far north!Oddly the trees are only just NOW starting to drop their leaves. Usually they are mostly down in August. Plus usually have the first light snow flurries in October. None this year.
We can (at least so far anyway) rely on foliage mid-Sept to mid-Oct . Agree on the snow flurries though, all previous years (to my recollection), we've had at least one if not more days with snow hitting the ground in October and often in September. It never lasts the day. But it is now Nov 9, haven't seen a flake and nothing in the forecast for the next 6 days according to Mr NOAA and not in the next 10 according to wunderground.
Perhaps a few "caution cones" placed at the end of the driveway would dissuade them?They don't want to believe the street ends in my driveway.
If not, maybe a large cutout of Granny in her rocker with her shotgun would do it.
