I am off to the nursery to order my selection of heritage apple trees.

I wonder if we have any of the varieties you have there.

Bulbs are the gift that keeps on giving every spring!

Daffodils yes, they keep multiplying. Not much luck with tulips though.

The part of the lawn where the tree was removed is doing well with over seeding! The rain on Monday did not mess anything up and I have grass sprouting on time

I guess proper meat and bread and coffee are things I will have to get used to being a rarity.

Can't help with the meat and coffee but you could make your own bread, right?

Several of the YouTube channels I watch get sponsored by Butcher Box Maybe they have something similar there? I've not looked into it since I buy my beef direct from local farmers I met at the Farmer's Market so I have no idea how expensive Butcher Box is.

I planted drought resistant grass-- it is a fescue with roots that go down up to 4 feet

I can water just two days a week with this grass.

I do have to deep water the trees once a month though

But at least they don't eat the daffodils.

I gave up on tulips years ago and just plant daffodils for just this reason.

I have had a horrible time growing daffodils here. Think the voles ate them .. I know my step Dad dug his up every fall here .. Dad left them in the ground years ago.
