The wood stove is on here too and the temperature outside was hovering around zero this morning with slush coming down. Brrr.

A poor field mouse made the mistake of wandering inside the house last night and met his end - our Jack Russell was pretty proud this morning! I think it’s his third this fall (would be many more if he had his wish). They tend to show up here and there once the weather gets cold. Thanks to him we don’t have any rodents living alongside us

Blustery is the word of the day! This ought to bring down some oak leaves. Which will then get plastered to the ground with the coming rain/snow mix. That ought to build up my arm muscles when I rake them! oh, wait... You have to have muscles to build first.

The sheep eat the aspen leaves for us and then compost them... LOL!

Jack Russels are the only small dog I like.
