Good to spend time with family; though spending it hanging around in hospitals is the pits!

Can't say I miss snow much, though it's a bit funny - my husband bought a plow that can be attached to the front of one of our mowers, and he's been itching for a chance to use it (boys and their toys, right?) It has been known to happen here - he may get his chance before the thing completely rusts away.

Ol' Man Winter must like it here; just when we think we've seen the back of him, he keeps poppin' 'round to say "howdy" one more time. We have a freeze warning posted for tonight, so I'm not feeling too bad about not having anything in the garden yet.

Good morning everyone, happy weekend.

Thanks for putting on the coffee Bunny!

We have has a super dry winter/spring so far. NM was almost all the way out of drought, but it's back now. So it was super nice to get a little rain yesterday. Most of our rain comes in the summer monsoons, but the winter snowpack in the mountains is so important for us downstream.

Make it a good day!

Looks like fun! Glad you got to start on your garden.
Good News! Popsicle Cat showed back up at 9:30 PM scratching on the door. Scared the living daylights out of us....., good thing it was dark I guess. Thought the bears or bobcats were back with a vengeance.
Off to the hospital soon. It is very tiring, this sitting there......... maybe we will get going home news today!
I wonder where pop was?
A neighbors' perhaps?
I hope your son gets to get released soon.
It is easier to recuperate at home.
Hospitals are not very relaxing.

Oh my, yes -- we got hit with nasty cold the last two days and this morning my co-worker came to work with a car covered in snow (she lives about half an hour in the opposite direction as I do) -- and we got a good, hard freeze last night. SOOO over winter!
Howdyfolks.

Took a day to spend with my sisters family that was down.
Sounds like fun, glad you got to enjoy some family time.

M & M, hope your boy is doing well. Mid twenties here again this morning. Peach trees were in full bloom last week as a result of early warm weather. Looks like no peaches this year. Hey, at least the wind has finally stopped blowing. Everyone have a good Sunday.

for healing at home!

"Red Flag Warning" because it was blowing like nobody's business yesterday; flirted with frost last night - is that 'fire and ice?' Things are much more sensible out there this morning.

And I just found out my husband still loves me. My skill as an "untangler" is the stuff of legend in my family; my little brother used to "gift" me tangled kite strings to sort out and give back to him. Hubby just "gifted" me a similar knot - he sent his earbuds through the washer and dryer (he gets stuff I am allergic to on his clothes; it's less crazy-making if he washes them). Very thoughtful of him to go to the trouble to provide me with some entertainment, but I wonder if they still work?
