No power tools? Sad state of affairs!
Oh I've got power tools coming out of my arse but they are all 115Volt site tools that need a transformer, or a generator to run.
You can't leave anything worth money at the allotments. It will disappear overnight.
The main problem apart from getting the tools back and forth from the allotments is there is no power at the allotments. A major oversight imo.
This will make you laugh.

My drill. A much underrated bit of kit.

You may call me Mr Old School and yes I can use them.

I wish!! I just put a 3rd bird in mine. One 7 Y/O and 2 that are just turning 1. White Rock, Black Australorp and the 5 toed "Ameraucana".

Getting tight in there.

They make some really good battery tools now though the expense can be a challenge.
So I'm led to believe. I did have a battery drill once. The batteries kept going flat. I'm as quick with the Stanly screwdriver shown above. It doesn't shred the screw heads either.

As those of us who have seen your lamps and sculptures will attest!!

Anyway.... GO AVALANCHE! (Hockey, anyone?)
Nope, sorry. I don't give a rat's arse about professional sports. Those people (AND the owners!) are paid WAY too much. And who is paying them? Anyone who buys a product from the companies that take out ads even if they don't watch the games. It isn't like they are paid from seat, Cracker Jacks and beer sales. IMO, if they can pay 100s of million$ to the players they should be giving the seats out free.

I guess maybe one exception might be golf. Those players make nothing (other than their endorsements) if they don't perform in a given event.

The batteries are much better now. There is quite the array of battery tools though the only ones I have are a drill and an impact driver. But I've seen circular saws, saber saws, reciprocating saws, band saw for cutting pipe, chain saws, pole saws, leaf blowers, etc.

I wonder if you could rent such tools when you have a lot that needs to be done and not too much time since you have to do everything yourself.

We had a scheduled power outage this morning from 6-am. We lost a powersupply in one server and a drive in a second one! Windows was scrambled on one of the conference room computers.

The servers are back up but I still have to work on the conference room computer. Luckily the Quarter is over now!
