Above 20C here and the forcast is it's going to get warmer later in the week.
Might just be enough sun to ripen up the gooseberries I've got my eyes on.

Our big pollen thing is oak. Oak trees all around us. There is a line of white pine along the road (I planted them about 27 years ago), but they're nearly 1/4 mile away, and the prevailing west wind usually takes the pollen out over the field. Another batch of pine out in the filed (planted by hubby about 24 years ago) don't leave much of their pollen around the house either.

But the oak more than makes up for it. My black car gets a yellow tinge.

Better, but it still sucks.
We are only hitting high 80s today but I still gave the birds electrolytes in their ferment for breakfast. Last night at lock up several had their wings out and were panting and it wasn't really that warm.

Well of course, just trying to find any tiny bit of comparative gratitude....
....along with a healthy dose of facetiousness.
Like the 90° in my house yesterday afternoon felt better than the 98° in the coop.
I gave EL yesterday too, then an ice block in midafternoon.
Will do another ice block today.

Morning and thanks for the HOT coffee! I need it. The wind is blowing and the temp got down to 40F and so I have a WIND CHILL thing going on out there, down in the 30's. The garden can just wait... I need to clear my head and wake up.
Penny, I bet the mold count makes up for the pollen!
Enjoy the day, Cafe! I am off, when it warms up, to deliver firewood to one of my friends that could use a little help.

I have a small office with a door and I'm wearing a mask if I get visitors.
But it's this place and the way it's run that is making me feel worse. I have a headache for a whole new reason now.

I am so sorry!

I get a lot of visitors to my office when classes are in session. Currently we are between Spring Quarter and Summer sessions I so traffic is light. Some wear masks and some do not.
