I came home to find Tink in the run with the kids having an adorable little family dust bath.
Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me.

We drove the approximately 1400 miles in two days
WowI'm getting there though.
Is that deep enough for the fish to live through the winter??The lowest point in the center will be 42"
Liner? What about Bentonite? Seems like it would be a lot easier than getting a liner exactly the right shape and in place.pin down the liner
More than enough. It only needs to be 2' deep for goldfish to survive. Is that deep enough for the fish to live through the winter??
Liner is much easier and more reliable. It should last decades. It isn't a preform. It's sheet EPDM, 45 mil thick. The bottom will be as wrinkle free as I can get it. The sides will have folds in them.Liner? What about Bentonite? Seems like it would be a lot easier than getting a liner exactly the right shape and in place.
Curious. Given you don't live all that much south of me I would think your frost line would be minimally 3.5+ feet. I think ours is 4'.More than enough. It only needs to be 2' deep for goldfish to survive.
I kept fish in the other pond without issue. The water doesn't freeze that low. And an aerator run during winter will keep a hole in the ice for gas exchange.Curious. Given you don't live all that much south of me I would think your frost line would be minimally 3.5+ feet. I think ours is 4'.
