Truck's driveshaft center support bearing took a vacation today. DH and I have both the front and back pieces of the driveshaft off and maybe we can get the part tomorrow. Rolling around in the dirt was not on the list of things to do today, LOL!

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I entertained myself last night watching the neighbor have 2 long dead ash taken down from her front yard. The rope the arborists had tied between the second tree and truck hitch snapped when they started to pull it in the direction they wanted it to fall. Thank goodness is was at a good angle so the rope flew high or it could have hit the cutter right in the head. That tree did not want to come down. But it did. They didn't limb or buck them though. They are still in the yard.
I need to ask my neighbor how much she was charged and get their contact information to see if they can tackle the big pine in my back yard I want dropped.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. Lots of dead ash trees around here. A problem just waiting to happen. A really strong storm , and there will be major power outages.

Our utility companies come through and aggressively cut trees because we get ice storms so often. They look hideous afterwards.
